Why Whitening?
Our teeth can discolor through the years as our enamel wears down. The wearing down of enamel allows dentin, a yellow color substance that makes the core of our teeth, to show through. This is what gives our teeth a yellowish tint. Teeth whitening helps restore teeth to a shiny white color through the use of bleach.There are three popular teeth whitening options available through Media Dentistry
Opalescence GO
Our patients will take home a series of 10 upper and 10 lower trays. These trays are a lower strength than the custom take home trays. These trays do however provide a stronger whitening ability that any over the counter store bought whitening product on the market. The trays also have a build in desensitizer, no store bought products currently have this feature.
Opalescence Custom Trays
ST
Custom Trays are a take-home whitening kit. These whitening kits are purchased from Media Dentistry and put the power of white in your hands. Usually, the trays are worn a half hour and can be used over a few days or weeks depending on your preference. Put yourself in control of how often you whiten and it is at your convenience. Cool tip: Whiten while you Shower!
Opalescence BOOST
OPALESCENCE BOOST produces a significant color change in your teeth in a short amount of time, usually within an hour. The procedure is done at the dentist's office by applying a high-concentration peroxide gel on the teeth after they have been protected with a special shield.
